accesso Technology Group plc (AIM: ACSO), the premier technology solutions provider for leisure, entertainment and cultural markets, reports that it has identified an IT security incident involving temporary unauthorised access to a limited part of the Group's systems. The unauthorised access has been contained and there has been no downtime or major disruption to the Group's operations or the services it provides to customers.
The Group immediately enacted its incident response plan, engaged external specialists to support its investigation and implemented workarounds and additional precautionary measures to mitigate the risk of disruption and further unauthorised access. Based on the investigation to date, the part of the Group's systems accessed contained internal information relating to the Group's own business operations. The investigation remains ongoing.
The Group is carefully monitoring its network and has not identified any suspicious activity since the incident. Based on the work performed to date, the Board currently assesses the risk of financial exposure arising from the incident to be low.
The Group is communicating with customers regarding the incident and has notified the relevant authorities.
