Zambeef (AIM: ZAM), the fully integrated cold chain foods and retail business with operations in Zambia, Nigeria and Ghana is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Patrick Kalifungwa as CFO and Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2024.
- Kalifungwa brings with him a wealth of corporate experience spanning 20 years having served as CFO (non-Board) for Minet Zambia Insurance Brokers Limited (formerly AON Risk Solutions) since 2017. Prior to that, Mr. Kalifungwa served as Head of Credit Risk Finance at Stanbic Bank Zambia Limited and as a Senior Associate with KPMG Zambia.
- Kalifungwa is a holder of a postgraduate Diploma in International Business from the University of Greenwich and qualified as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), at the Zambia Centre for Accountancy Studies. Mr. Kalifungwa is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants.
- Kalifungwa is a Non-Executive Director of LIUTEBM University, Semane Engineering Solutions Zambia Limited, Monter Capital Partnership Limited and Kilimanjaro Country Lodge. He is also a Trustee of The Other Side Foundation.
