The partnership is announced at a pivotal moment for the market, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which Mexico will co-host. The tournament is expected to drive substantial increases in sports viewership, media consumption and betting activity across the region.

Mark Epstein, CEO of Gana Media Group said:

"The agreement further strengthens Gana Media Group's strategic positioning within Latin America, reinforcing its ability to operate across both media and gaming verticals. By combining premium sports content with integrated betting capabilities, Gana is building a scalable platform designed to capitalise on the continued growth of the Mexican iGaming market."
