Filtronic won a $62.5m (£47.3m) SpaceX E-band GaN award, announced 12 Dec 2025, delivering from FY2027. The 4 Aug 2026 results said the GaN ramp makes FY2027 H2-weighted. On 1 Oct 2026 SpaceX placed a $68.1m (£51.3m) follow-on order, its largest, to be materially fulfilled in FY2028.

US satellite mmWave module programme

Follow-on $8m prototype build contract awarded

On 26 March 2026 Filtronic won an $8.0m (£6.0m) amplifier development contract from a US company. On 23 June 2026 the same customer awarded about $0.5m (£0.4m) for an initial mmWave module design phase. On 16 Sep 2026 a follow-on $8m (£5.9m) prototype design, development and build contract was announced, with revenue across FY2027 and FY2028 and completion expected in H1 FY2028.
