  • Martens plc ('Dr. Martens' or 'the Company'), the iconic British footwear brand with a global presence, announces that Lynne Weedall, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees, has informed the Board of her intention to step down at the conclusion of the 2026 Annual General Meeting ('AGM') on 15 July 2026 after almost six years on the Board. Lynne will therefore not seek re-election at the 2026 AGM.

A thorough succession process to appoint Lynne's replacement on the Board is well progressed and a further announcement will be made in due course.

Paul Mason, Chairman of Dr. Martens, said: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Lynne for her significant contributions since the Company's IPO in 2021. She has brought sound judgement, constructive challenge and a strong governance mindset, and I have greatly valued her counsel and support."
