Further Litigation Update

Big Technologies plc (AIM: BIG), a leading provider of electronic monitoring solutions, provides the following update:

Further to the RNS dated 12 October 2026 entitled ‘Litigation Update’, in which the Company provided notification that it had been served with a Claim Form by Sara Murray asserting she was entitled to damages from the Company for libel (amongst other relief), as expected the Company was served with the Particulars of Claim on Friday 23 October 2026.

The defamation claim is in respect of allegations of forgery made by the Company against Sara Murray in the RNS dated 12 September 2025 (the “12 September 2025 Announcement”). Those forgery allegations are also a part of the proposed expanded case advanced by the Company in the draft re-amended particulars of claim (themselves referred to in the 12 September 2025 Announcement) which it seeks to file and serve in the Commercial Court proceedings between the Company and others and Sara Murray and others (claim number CL-2025-000135).

The Company robustly disputes the defamation claim which has been advanced against it by Sara Murray and is currently preparing its response.

The Company will provide further updates as appropriate.
