Completion of Jameson Environmental Surveys
80 Mile PLC has announced the completion of environmental baseline surveys at the Jameson Land Basin Project in East Greenland, a crucial step for the ongoing Environmental Impact Assessment and permitting process. These surveys, conducted by its joint venture partner Greenland Energy Company, built upon previous extensive studies and focused on soil, freshwater, vegetation, habitat, and wildlife documentation, particularly around proposed well locations and the coastal landing site. The company's subsidiary, White Flame Energy A/S, received approval for field activities from Greenland's Ministry of Business and Mineral Resources through September 30, 2026.

80 Mile PLC ("80 Mile" or the "Company"), the AIM, FSE, and OTC listed exploration and development company, is pleased to acknowledge the announcement from Greenland Energy Company, 80 Mile’s joint venture partner for the Jameson Land Basin Project in East Greenland (“Jameson”), regarding the completion of the environmental baseline surveys at Jameson.
On 19 August 2026, Greenland’s Ministry of Business and Mineral Resources granted White Flame Energy A/S, the license holder and 80 Mile’s 100%-owned subsidiary, approval for field activities under OEEL 2015/13 and OEEL 2015/14, covering the period through to 30 September 2026. The approved programme comprised soil and freshwater sampling, vegetation and habitat studies, and the documentation of wildlife and bird activity throughout the project area, with a particular focus on the proposed well locations and the coastal landing site.
These additional baseline surveys built on the extensive environmental studies already completed by the Company at Jameson and provide additional data to support the ongoing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and permitting process.
