Thruvision Group plc (AIM: THRU), a leading provider of walk-through security technology ("Thruvision" or the "Company" and, together with its subsidiary undertakings, the "Group"), today provides a trading update for the six months ended 30 September 2026 (“FY27 H1”).

Highlights:

FY27 H1 revenue was £2.6 million (FY26 H1: £2.6 million; FY26 FY: £6.0 million), in line with Board expectations.

Order backlog has increased significantly, and as of 30 September was £2.6 million (31 March 2026: £1.3 million; 30 September 2025: £0.2 million) providing good revenue visibility for the second half of FY27 during which the current order backlog is expected to be delivered.

The Group’s latest cash balance as of 9 October 2026 was £1.6 million (31 March 2026: £2.0 million).

FY27 full year revenue expectations remain unchanged at £8.0 million.

The Group secured a number of strategically important contract wins during the period. These included: (i) two further Retail Distribution orders in Europe through our major retail distribution partner; (ii) a contract expected to generate more than £3 million of revenue from the deployment of Thruvision systems across multiple major airports in South-East Asia, with delivery expected during FY27 H2; (iii) the Group’s first Canadian Government customer; and (iv) further orders from Retail Distribution customers across the UK, Europe and the US and from a new Government customer in Europe.

All markets experienced good order traction during the period, with particularly encouraging progress through the Group’s strategic partner network, which contributed almost 60% of H1 revenue. Revenue from partners was generated across multiple regions and markets, demonstrating the increasing reach of the Group’s technology and the potential for partners to accelerate customer engagement and market penetration.

The Group also continued to expand its routes to market during the period, adding RedteQ and Bavak Security Group to its Value-Added Reseller network. RedteQ covers the United Kingdom, while Bavak provides services in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, increasing the Group’s reach in the Government, Critical Infrastructure, Entrance and Customs markets.

The Group has a strong pipeline of sales opportunities reflecting our increased sales and marketing activities to support lead generation, as well as the continued development of relationships with new and existing partners. The hiring of three new sales managers in the USA and UK at the start of the period is already contributing to increased sales activity and pipeline development.

Public space protection is proving particularly attractive, with increasing customer interest in enhanced security for high-footfall public environments such as transport hubs. This represents an important opportunity for Thruvision, alongside our established markets and applications.

Victoria Balchin, CEO, commented:

“The first half demonstrated encouraging progress, with equipment orders across all our key markets and strategic partnerships playing an increasingly important role. The contribution from partners of almost 60% of first-half revenue is particularly encouraging and demonstrates the growing reach of our partner network. We are also seeing increasing interest in public space protection, where the need for effective security solutions in high-footfall environments continues to grow.

“With a significantly increased order backlog and a strong sales pipeline, we enter the second half with good visibility and confidence in our ability to execute. The Board remains confident that FY27 revenue will be in line with current market expectations, and believes the business is well positioned to deliver further growth into FY28, as we deliver against our strategy, expand our routes to market and capitalise on the increasing adoption of our technology.”
