Tap Earn Update

In brief · summary, not quotable

Tap Global Group plc announced significant growth in its Tap Earn crypto asset yield programme, with assets under management surpassing US$8 million, a 43% increase in one month and more than double since its May launch. The programme has generated approximately US$141,000 in cumulative yield revenue since inception, with an annualised gross yield of around 7% on committed capital. This growth is primarily driven by net customer deposits, not just Bitcoin price appreciation, and the company has made 20 consecutive weekly payouts. Future plans include deploying funds from a recent £1 million placing into the Tap Earn mechanism for the Group’s Digital Asset Income Strategy.

Tap Global Group plc (AIM: TAP), the innovative digital finance hub that brings money, payments and crypto settlement services together in a single user-friendly app, is pleased to provide an update on Tap Earn, the Group’s proprietary crypto asset yield programme launched in May 2026.

Kep Points

  • Continued AUM growth: Tap Earn assets under management ("AUM") surpassed US$8.0 million as at 22 September 2026, up 43% from the US$5.6 million as reported on 20 August 2026 and 129% from the US$3.5 million reported shortly after launch on 18 May 2026
  • Customer driven: AUM growth of 129% since 18 May 2026 delivered against a 12% rise in the Bitcoin price over the same period, demonstrating growth is being driven principally by net customer deposits
  • Proven new revenue stream: Cumulative yield revenue generated by the programme since launch is approximately US$141,000, up from approximately US$125,000 at 20 August 2026, representing an annualised gross yield of approximately 7% on committed capital
  • Reliable delivery established: 20 consecutive weekly payouts made to customers since launch
  • Consistently competitive returns: Customer rates remain up to 8.0% (annualised) on supported stablecoins, 3.5% on Ethereum and 2.5% on Bitcoin, with no lock-ups, notice periods or early-withdrawal penalties
  • Forthcoming addition of group treasury assets: The Group’s Digital Asset Income Strategy ("DAIS") reserve, to be initiated with funds from the £1 million placing announced on 22 September 2026, will also be deployed through the Tap Earn book mechanism
  • Introduction of monthly reporting: first monthly DAIS report, covering crypto assets held, movements and yield generated, will follow the first deployment of treasury assets through Tap Earn

Arsen Torosian, Chief Executive Officer of Tap Global, commented:

"Four and a half months in, and Tap Earn holds more than US$8 million of customer assets. This isn’t just being driven by the Bitcoin price rise, but principally by customers moving assets into the product.

"The product does one simple thing well. Our customers already hold Bitcoin and digital assets; Tap Earn pays them on those holdings every week. Customers are voting with their deposits, and the programme is now generating over US$30,000 a month as an additional Group revenue stream – I believe we’re scratching the surface of what can be achieved as AUM scales.

"Earn is also set to be the engine behind our Digital Asset Income Strategy. The reserve we will begin to build with the proceeds from last week’s placing will be deployed on exactly the same mechanism, so every dollar Earn adds at scale is a step for the Group’s own balance sheet too, and our monthly DAIS updates will report against that."
