Chief Financial Officer update
Surgical Innovations Group plc announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Brent Greetham, has informed the Board of his intention to step down to pursue other interests, with a six-month notice period to ensure an orderly handover. The company has initiated a search for a new CFO, and the CEO and a Non-Executive Director will provide additional support to the finance function in the interim. Surgical Innovations Group plc (AIM: SUN), the designer, manufacturer and distributor of innovative medical technology for minimally invasive surgery ("MIS"), announces that Brent Greetham, Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"), informed the Board yesterday of his intention to step down from his role as CFO and Director of the Board to pursue other interests.
A process to appoint a new CFO is underway and Brent will continue to work with the Group during his six months' notice period to ensure an orderly handover. A further announcement will be made in due course.
In the meantime, David Marsh ("CEO") and the Board and in particular, Andrew Boteler ("Non-Executive Director") a former CFO and Chair of the Company's Audit Committee, will provide additional support to the finance function as required.
