Springfield Properties plc has issued 71,961 new ordinary shares due to employee option exercises, increasing its total issued share capital to 119,586,248 ordinary shares. In accordance with the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”), Springfield Properties plc (AIM: SPR), a leading housebuilder in Scotland, gives notice that it has issued 71,961 new ordinary shares of 0.125 pence each (“Ordinary Shares”), pursuant to the exercise of options by employees, and these have been admitted to trading on AIM under the Group’s block listing.
Following this issue, the Group’s issued share capital consists of 119,586,248 Ordinary Shares, including 70,000 shares held in treasury. The total number of voting rights in the Company, excluding treasury shares, is 119,516,248. The figure of 119,516,248 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Group under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
