CEO Appointment
Solid State plc has appointed John Macmichael as Chief Executive Officer on a permanent basis, effective immediately, following his interim role since November. Concurrently, Jon Baxter has been appointed Managing Director of Solsta, taking responsibility for the Group's Components division. The company highlighted Macmichael's leadership and strategic contributions during his interim tenure, expressing confidence in his ongoing role.

Solid State plc (AIM: SOLI), the specialist value added component supplier and design-in manufacturer of computing, power, and communications products is pleased to confirm the appointment of John Macmichael to the post of Chief Executive Officer on a permanent basis with immediate effect. Jon Baxter has been appointed to the post of Managing Director of Solsta, to assume responsibility for the Group's Components division.
Commenting on this appointment, Nigel Rogers, Chairman of the Board, said:
"John accepted the appointment as Interim CEO last November in unexpected circumstances and provided immediate stability and confidence to the Company and its stakeholders. Since then, he has shown great leadership to the senior team, and has embraced the development and implementation of Group strategy.
