The chairperson of Permanent TSB Group Holdings plc, Julie O'Neill, has announced today that, as part of ongoing succession planning and board refreshment, Mr Ronan O'Neill will retire from the board at the end of his nine-year term of office on 30 July 2025. The board is at an advanced stage in the recruitment for Ronan's successor who, upon appointment, will chair the board audit committee.
Speaking today, Julie O'Neill acknowledged Mr O'Neill's contribution to the board since his appointment in 2016 saying that "PTSB has benefited greatly from Ronan's experience, diligence and exceptional commitment over his tenure. On behalf of the board, I thank him sincerely for the many meaningful contributions he has made to the bank across a wide range of roles during his tenure."
