Full year trading anticipated to be slightly ahead of expectations with Drache progressing well and the acquisition of GV Filtri completed

Porvair plc, the specialist filtration, laboratory and environmental technology group, announces the following trading update for the nine months ended 31 August 2026.

The Group performed in line with expectations in the first nine months of the financial year, delivering constant currency revenue growth of 14%, 5% organic constant currency. This reflects the revenue contribution from Drache, acquired in January 2026, and the resilience of Porvair's diversified portfolio amid varied conditions across the Group's end markets.

Aerospace & Industrial

Aerospace order books remain strong, noting that the timing of delivery can be affected by changes in customer scheduling. Industrial markets have remained mixed. Robust nuclear demand has continued throughout the period. Petrochemical sales, which can be lumpy, have remained subdued as expected, and market conditions in Europe are expected to remain challenging for the balance of 2026 and into 2027.

The acquisition of GV Filtri Industriali S.r.l. (“GV Filtri”), previously announced as subject to regulatory approval, completed in September and integration work has started. For the year ended December 2025, GV Filtri’s revenue was approximately €5m and the company employs around 30 people.

Laboratory

Life sciences continued to grow, with consistent demand for consumables, while laboratory instruments suggest some moderation. Demand within the environmental testing market has been encouraging, and the acquisition of Carekem has progressed well in its first two months with the Group. New product introductions across life sciences and environmental are progressing as planned.

Metal Melt Quality

Aluminium and superalloys demand remains robust, whilst the auto and agriculture end-markets, which represent a smaller part of the Group, remain subdued. The integration of Drache is progressing to plan, with collaboration across the Metal Melt Quality team focused on developing customer opportunities, and trading remains slightly ahead of expectations.

Outlook

The Board expects trading to be slightly ahead of full-year market expectations following the completion of GV Filtri in September. Underlying trading across the Group remains in line with the Board’s expectations for the full year, supported by a diversified customer base, strong recurring revenue streams and disciplined operational management.
