Agreement to Acquire Clarendon Agricare
Origin Enterprises plc has announced an agreement to acquire Clarendon Agricare Limited, a Northern Ireland-based distributor of plant protection products. This acquisition is expected to strengthen Origin's plant protection distribution capabilities and support its existing merchant channel relationships through its joint ventures and Origin Northern Ireland business. The transaction is subject to completion conditions and is anticipated to finalize in the coming weeks.

Dublin, London, 20 March 2026: Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company'), the international group championing sustainable land use solutions, today announces that it has agreed to acquire Clarendon Agricare Limited ("Clarendon").
Clarendon is a leading distributor of plant protection products and provides advice to distributors in the grassland, arable, horticulture and amenity sectors across Northern Ireland from its facility in Portadown, County Armagh.
Welcoming the announcement, Sean Coyle, Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Clarendon Agricare is a well-established distributor within the Northern Ireland agricultural sector. This acquisition strengthens our plant protection distribution capability and supports the merchant channel with which we have positive relationship via our existing Fertiliser and Feed joint venture operations and our Origin Northern Ireland business. We look forward to working with the current executive team who will remain with the business post completion."
The transaction is subject to completion conditions and is expected to complete in the coming weeks.
