Suspension of CFO
Neo Energy Metals plc has suspended its Chief Financial Officer, De Wet Schutte, pending an investigation into alleged misconduct, though the company states this does not involve financial mismanagement and its financial position remains unaffected. Martin Westerman has been appointed to oversee the financial function immediately. The company, which holds two South African uranium projects with a combined resource of 31.5 million pounds of uranium and 1.2 million ounces of gold, will provide further updates as appropriate.

Neo Energy Metals plc (LSE: NEO; A2X: NEO), the uranium and gold development company focused on South Africa, announces that the Company's Board has suspended its Chief Financial Officer, De Wet Schutte, while investigating potential misconduct.
The misconduct allegation is not in respect to any financial mismanagement, impropriety or wrongdoing and the Company's financial position has not been impacted. The Company and its Board of Directors continue to work to the highest standards of governance and integrity.
Martin Westerman has been appointed to oversee the Company's financial function from immediate effect.
