Mkango Resources Ltd. confirmed that management is unaware of any material change in the company's operations that would account for the recent increase in market activity, responding to a request from CIRO. Mkango's strategy includes becoming a leader in recycled rare earth magnets through its interest in Maginito Limited, which it owns 79.4% with CoTec Holdings Corp owning 20.6%. Maginito holds interests in HyProMag Ltd. and HyProMag GmbH, focused on magnet recycling in the UK and Germany, respectively, and Mkango Rare Earths UK Ltd. Maginito and CoTec are also rolling out HPMS recycling technology into the United States via the 50/50 owned HyProMag USA LLC joint venture company. Mkango also owns the Songwe Hill rare earths project in Malawi and the Pulawy rare earths separation project in Poland.

London / Vancouver: October 24, 2025 - At the request of CIRO, Mkango Resources Ltd. (AIM/TSX-V: MKA) ("Mkango" or the "Company") wishes to confirm that the Company's management is unaware of any material change in the Company's operations that would account for the recent increase in market activity.

Mkango also owns the advanced stage Songwe Hill rare earths project in Malawi ("Songwe") and the Pulawy rare earths separation project in Poland ("Pulawy"). Both the Songwe and Pulawy projects have been selected as Strategic Projects under the European Union Critical Raw Materials Act. Mkango has signed a Business Combination Agreement ("BCA") with Crown PropTech Acquisitions ("CPTK") to list the Songwe Hill and Pulawy rare earths projects on NASDAQ via a SPAC Merger. Completion of the SPAC Merger is subject to satisfaction of the conditions set forth in the BCA.
