Board Appointment
Mercia Asset Management PLC, with approximately £2.0 billion in assets under management, announced the appointment of Janine Nicholls as a Non-executive Director, effective October 20, 2025. Nicholls will succeed Dr. Jonathan Pell as Chair of Mercia's Audit & Risk Committee upon his retirement later this year. Nicholls, a Chartered Accountant, brings over 30 years of experience in private equity and financial services. She currently serves as a Non-executive Director at ICG Enterprise Trust PLC and recently resigned from Calculus VCT PLC, where she chaired the Audit Committee. Nicholls does not hold any shares in the Company.

Board Appointment
Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the regionally focused, private capital asset manager with c.£2.0billion of assets under management, is pleased to announce the appointment of Janine Nicholls as a Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 20 October 2025. Janine will become Chair of Mercia's Audit & Risk Committee when Dr. Jonathan Pell retires from the Board later this year.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC, Janine has more than 30 years' experience in private equity and financial services and has recently stepped down as COO of Snowball Impact Management, a multi-asset impact investor, following its sale to Tribe Impact Capital. She previously held the same role at private equity firms GHO Capital and Hermes GPE.
Janine is currently a Non-executive Director on the board of ICG Enterprise Trust PLC and recently resigned as a Non-executive Director from Calculus VCT PLC, where she was Chair of the Audit Committee.
