Excellent trading momentum sustained in Q3 with revenue growth of 17% and Adjusted Operating Profit improvement of 60%
Luceco plc (“Luceco” or the “Group”), the leading designer and manufacturer of residential and commercial electrification products and systems, provides the following trading update for the three months ended 30 September 2026 (“Q3” or the “third quarter”).
Continued excellent trading momentum against a strong prior year comparative
Revenue in Q3 was 17.0% higher on a like-for-like basis, driven by Energy Transition and core activity growth:
Year-on-year Q3 revenue growth of approximately 220% in Energy Transition, comprising EV charging and Demand Flexibility. Increased Demand Flexibility enrolments to over 31k at the end of September 2026
Year-on-year Q3 revenue growth of 3.4% in the Group’s core products
Year-to-date revenue growth, on a like-for-like basis, 15.0%
Positive revenue mix, and delivery of further operational efficiencies resulted in Q3 profitability significantly ahead of the prior year
With good visibility afforded by a strong order book for delivery in Q4, the Board anticipates a positive end to the year
Strong balance sheet supports capital allocation optionality
Bank Net Debt at the end of Q3 2026 was £74.6m (Q3 2025: £68.4m), with the increase in-line with revenue growth, whilst Bank Net Debt:EBITDA leverage improved over the prior year at 1.4x (Q3 2025: 1.6x), comfortably within the Group’s target range of 1–2x
The Group’s strong balance sheet, improving leverage position and cash generation provides flexibility to support continued investment in organic growth initiatives and selective bolt‑on acquisitions, consistent with its capital allocation policy
Confident in delivering profitability in line with market expectations
The trends noted at the interim results announced on 22 September are expected to continue through the remainder of the year
There is a healthy level of demand for the Group’s core products, and there is positive momentum driven by the contribution from Demand Flexibility and EV
The Board remains confident that full-year 2026 Adjusted Operating Profit1 will be delivered in line with market expectations, which increased following the announcement of the Group’s 2026 interim results five weeks ago
Dr Thorsten Müller, Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Luceco delivered a strong third-quarter performance, with revenue growth of approximately 17%, against what was a strong prior-year comparative. This performance demonstrates the strength of our competitive advantages and positioning in attractive market segments, including the significant opportunity afforded within Energy Transition. We remain confident in the outturn for the year.”
1Company-compiled analyst consensus as at 26 October 2026 for full year Adjusted Operating Profit: 2026 £41.8m, with a range of £41.3m - £42.5m.
