Q3 Trading Update
Ibstock reports Q3 trading with UK brick market volumes down ~17% year‑on‑year across July–August, Q3 clay/brick sales ~22% below expectations and production reduced ~20% versus half‑year plans; lower fixed‑cost absorption is expected to reduce adjusted EBITDA by ~£6m and the Board now expects full‑year adjusted EBITDA in the mid‑£40m range with second‑half performance materially below prior expectations. Management is prioritising cash generation through tight control of inventory, capital expenditure and discretionary costs while commissioning of the Nostell ceramic façades factory is on track to complete by year‑end; the Your First Home scheme delay to April 2027 adds near‑term demand pressure.
