GenIP plc (AIM: GNIP), a provider of AI-driven services to help research organisations and corporations commercialise their innovations, announces the soft launch of its Invention Evaluator platform (‘the platform’) which is currently being trialled by several customers across Chile, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom.

The Invention Evaluator platform provides a single place for customers to submit inventions, receive results, compare opportunities and manage their full portfolio. GenIP combines AI-assisted research with expert analyst review while keeping clients’ confidential technology disclosures out of AI systems. This allows customers to benefit from AI-assisted assessments while protecting commercially sensitive inventions. Greater automation reduces delivery time and increases capacity, while the planned annual subscription model is expected to provide greater revenue visibility for the Company.

The platform is in early customer use, with clients across Chile, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom actively testing it and providing feedback ahead of the planned commercial launch in December. Customer participation provides valuable insights, helping GenIP to refine the product and practical commercialisation needs ahead of commercial launch as the Company transitions from single reports to an ongoing platform-based support model.

Harin Vaghela, Chief Product Officer, provides an overview of the new Invention Evaluator platform.

Melissa Cruz, CEO of GenIP, commented:

“We are seeing excellent progress with the customers that are currently trialling our new Invention Evaluator platform and the feedback provided is helping us to refine the model ahead of commercial launch planned for December. By moving to a subscription-based model we will have greater capacity to produce more reports and the infrastructure to covert our existing pipeline into scalable revenue.”
