Guardian Metal Resources plc announces the immediate appointment of Dr. Mark Bramley Thorpe, aged 66, as an Independent Non-executive Director and member of the Audit Committee, replacing Mr. Mark Burnett. Dr. Thorpe's former directorships include Envirogold Global Limited and Canada Mining Innovation Council. The company, focused on tungsten exploration in Nevada, USA, has previously received a US$6.2 million investment from the U.S. Department of War for its Pilot Mountain project and completed a U.S. listing on the NYSE American on March 20, 2026.

Further to its announcement of board changes on 21 May 2026 and the conclusion of necessary due diligence, Guardian Metal Resources plc (NYSE-A: GMTL, LON: GMET, OTCQB: GMTLF), a mineral exploration company focused on tungsten within Nevada, USA, announces the formal appointment of Dr Mark Bramley Thorpe to its Board with immediate effect.
Mark will be an Independent Non-executive Director of Guardian Metal and will be a member of the Audit Committee. He replaces Mr. Mark Burnett who retired from the Board, as announced previously.
