Chief Financial Officer succession
MJ Gleeson plc has announced a Chief Financial Officer succession, with Stefan Allanson stepping down after eleven years and Andrew Kirkman appointed as his successor, effective October 19, 2026. Kirkman brings extensive financial experience, most recently serving as CFO at CLS Holdings plc, and previously at Harworth Group plc. Allanson will remain available until December 31, 2026, to ensure a smooth handover. The company stated that Kirkman's remuneration will align with the Directors' Remuneration Policy, with full details to be disclosed in the FY2027 Annual Report.

MJ Gleeson, the leading affordable housebuilder and strategic land promoter, announces that after eleven years in the role, Stefan Allanson, Chief Financial Officer ("CFO"), advised the Board of his intention to step down from the Board.
As part of an orderly succession process, and following an extensive search process, Andrew Kirkman will be appointed to succeed Stefan as CFO, and as a director of MJ Gleeson, on Monday 19 October 2026. Stefan Allanson will formally step down from the Board on Friday 16 October 2026 and remain available to ensure an orderly handover until 31 December 2026.
Andrew Kirkman has had an extensive career in senior financial roles since qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1996 and subsequently spending six years in investment banking. Most recently, Andrew was CFO at commercial property group CLS Holdings plc, having previously held the position of CFO at Harworth Group plc, the leading regeneration, strategic land and development business. Andrew has held a number of other senior financial roles including CFO of Viridor and Balfour Beatty Investments.

- Andrew Kirkman's remuneration arrangements will be consistent with the Directors' Remuneration Policy approved by shareholders at the Company's last annual general meeting and full details of Andrew's remuneration package will be disclosed in the Group's FY2027 Annual Report and Accounts.
