Futura Medical plc (AIM:FUM) the consumer healthcare company behind Eroxon® and that specialises in the development and commercialisation of innovative and clinically proven sexual health products, is pleased to report the results of an additional recent Home User Test (“HUT”) conducted on the new Eroxon® “Intense” formula intended for commercialisation in H1 2027.

The HUT tested the “Intense” formula with its proven sensorial enhancement over the current Eroxon® product with an optimised product presentation designed to support more consistent dispensing and application in real world use.

Results were highly positive demonstrating a significant improvement in product performance over the original Intense presentation and Eroxon® formulation.

Home User Test results summary

The study evaluated Intense with the optimised Intense presentation in 115 men aged 18-59, the majority of whom had mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. The study design was broadly identical to the previous Home User Test, detailed in the announcement on 23 March 2026, allowing direct comparison between the two studies.

Results demonstrated that the optimised presentation improved performance across all key measures compared with both the original Intense presentation and the current Eroxon® formulation.

Participants reported being satisfied with the hardness of their erections in 82% of sexual encounters, compared with 71% for the original Intense and 70% for Eroxon® in the previous study. Erections lasted long enough for intercourse in 87% of encounters, compared with 85% and 84% respectively.

On the clinically validated IIEF-EF scale*, participants achieved a 7.86-point improvement from baseline, compared with 4.82 points in the previous study of original Intense. This exceeded the threshold generally regarded as clinically meaningful** and was particularly pronounced among men with moderate ED, where 87% achieved a clinically meaningful improvement versus 73% previously.

Ratings, user satisfaction and purchase intent all improved compared with the previous study on the original Eroxon Intense presentation, further supporting the enhanced performance of the optimised Intense presentation.

In summary, the optimised Intense presentation delivered meaningful improvements across all key performance measures, reinforcing the potential of Intense to provide a differentiated consumer experience. Work is now nearing completion to finalise the product's market positioning ahead of the planned H1 2027 launch. The results further support the Company's previously stated belief that clear communication around product use will deliver increased customer satisfaction.

Ken James, Executive Director and Head of R&D commented: "We are very encouraged by the results of this additional Home User Test. The optimised presentation of the new Intense product delivered improvements across all key measures compared with previous study results on both the original Intense the current Eroxon® formulations/presentations, demonstrating the potential to further enhance the user experience.

Importantly, the study continues to reinforce our belief that Intense’s enhanced sensorial experience represents a meaningful point of differentiation. As we have highlighted previously, effective positioning and communication around the use of the product will be critical in improving customer satisfaction.

With launch development progressing well, we remain on track to complete the brand positioning work and prepare for the planned commercial launch in the first half of 2027."
