EARNZ (AIM:EARN), the energy services company whose objective is to capitalise on the drive for global decarbonisation, is pleased to announce that it has secured a one-year £1.2million contract with the sustainable regeneration specialist Equans, to supply and install insulation, ventilation upgrades, and renewable energy solutions to 92 privately owned homes in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

The contract has been awarded on the back of a £7.1 million Warm Homes: Local Authority Grant from Bradford City Council to increase the energy efficiency of privately owned homes in the city. Further phases of the initial one year contract are expected to follow over the next 2 years, with a maximum value of £7.1 million.

Commenting on this contract, Earnz CEO Peter Smith, said: "We are delighted to have secured such a significant contract. Working for Equans and Bradford City Council, we will be helping residents make their homes cheaper to heat, healthier to live in and lower in carbon emissions. We will also be supporting the local community with employment opportunities."

Steve Batty, Director of Sustainability at Equans, said: "Equans is looking forward to working in partnership with Earnz on the delivery of this scheme. This project, supported by Government funding, will help to reduce residents' energy bills in what are challenging times due to the rising costs of living, whilst also helping the environment by reducing carbon emissions across the city."

Considering this significant contract win, Earnz PLC has set up a new business, Warm Low Living Ltd, based in Yorkshire and is pleased to welcome the new team into the Group. We are particularly delighted that two of our businesses, Warm Low Living Ltd and A&D Carbon Solutions Ltd, are working together to deliver this project, demonstrating that collaboration is the key to delivering Net Zero objectives in the UK's housing stock.
