Dianomi, a leading provider of digital advertising services to premium clients in the Business, Finance and Lifestyle sectors, is pleased to announce it has formed a new partnership with AI media infrastructure company Dappier to launch an advertising monetised AI-powered financial answers engine designed for financial publisher websites, many of whom are existing clients of Dianomi.
Publishers of financial news websites are increasingly competing with alternatives such as AI news summaries and conversational AI chatbots like ChatGPT and Claude, the combination of which is reducing audience time on their sites.
Dianomi and Dappier's AI-powered answers engine combats this issue, by enabling publishers to turn their journalism and extensive archives into content for conversational AI experiences embedded directly on their own sites, enabling readers to ask questions that occur to them as shown in the mobile format example opposite.
Answers are generated from trusted editorial content and critically, delivered within the publisher environment. Doing so retains audiences and enables the AI engine to capture the questions being asked and integrate agentic native advertising directly into the conversational experience, creating a new revenue opportunity for both publishers and financial brands.
For publishers this represents an excellent opportunity to capture and monetise financial AI conversations directly on their own sites rather than losing audiences to external AI platforms and provides Dianomi with new agentic advertising opportunities within its existing publisher base and creates new ones with publishers with whom Dianomi does not currently partner.
By combining Dappier's conversational AI technology with Dianomi's distribution, which reaches 500 million devices per month across 250+ premium publishers, the partnership has the potential to create a new sector-wide distributed AI answers network.
Commenting on the partnership, Rupert Hodson, CEO of Dianomi, said:
"Financial decisions start with questions. AI is changing how those questions are asked, and we believe publishers should benefit from that shift, rather than lose audiences to external platforms.
Dianomi's role in this partnership is clear: we bring the premium financial advertisers and global distribution across the world's leading financial publishers. By leveraging Dappier's AI technology, we are transforming conversational financial intent into a scalable advertising opportunity thereby helping publishers to further monetise their sites and further embedding Dianomi within the publisher ecosystem.
While still in the early stages, the response has been very positive, and we are currently engaged in a number of discussions with major publishers and advertisers regarding potential pilot projects."
Dan Goikhman, CEO at Dappier, added:
"Our agentic AI technology enables publishers to turn their trusted content into real-time conversational answer experiences that provide a unique surface for brands to engage consumers. Partnering with Dianomi ensures those experiences are distributed at scale and monetised effectively through deep financial advertising relationships.
Together, we are creating a publisher-owned alternative to horizontal AI platforms - one purpose-built for the finance vertical."
