GlobalData Plc (LSE: DATA), the leading provider of industry intelligence is pleased to announce that, at a general meeting of the Company held earlier today (2.30pm on 6 August 2026) (the "General Meeting"), the special resolution put to shareholders (the "Resolution") to authorise the Company to buy-back up to 35,294,117 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company at a price of 85 pence per share pursuant to the tender offer for up to £30 million announced by the Company on 10 July 2026 (the "Tender Offer") was duly passed by shareholders.
The Tender Offer closes at 1.00 p.m. on 10 August 2026. The Company expects to make a further announcement in respect of the results of the Tender Offer on 11 August 2026.
Voting on the Resolution proposed at the General Meeting was conducted by way of a poll. The number of votes for and against the Resolution put before the General Meeting, as well as the number of votes withheld, were as follows:
