Catenai PLC (AIM: CTAI), the AIM-quoted provider of technology and digital solutions, provides an update on Alludium Ltd ("Alludium"), its investee company.

Alludium has advised the Company that Sure Valley Ventures ("SVV"), the UK and Ireland-focused venture capital firm that has been Alludium's design partner, has become a paying customer of Alludium's agentic platform for venture capital firms.

SVV has worked with Alludium throughout the development of its venture capital offering, and its feedback has helped shape the platform. SVV's investment team now uses the platform on all its live deals.

SVV's move from design partner to paying customer is an important milestone in Alludium's journey, with Alludium now extending the same model to other venture capital firms as design partners and customers.

Focus on institutional dealmaking

As set out in the Company's half-year report on 30 September 2026, Alludium has directed new commercial activity towards institutional customers, with an initial focus on venture capital. Alludium continues to onboard additional institutional venture capital firms through its design partner programme. Since its last update, Alludium has signed a further 4 design partners to the programme, taking the current total to 8, with more potential partners in discussions.

In line with this focus, Alludium will soon retire the earlier, general-purpose version of its platform, which was launched publicly in March 2026. This will allow Alludium to direct all of its development and commercial resources to its institutional platform.

Venture capital is Alludium's first market. Over time, Alludium intends to extend the platform to other institutional dealmaking, including private equity and private credit.

John Frizelle, Founder and CEO of Alludium, commented: "SVV has been with us from the start, and their team has helped shape what Alludium is today. Having them move from design partner to paying customer is the clearest signal we could ask for that the platform is valuable to venture firms for deal operations. We are doubling down on deal operations, with venture capital the first vertical we are serving."

John Farthing, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Catenai PLC, commented: "We are delighted that the Alludium team has converted SVV from design partner into its first enterprise customer. We can see that the focus on venture capital is helping to build greater momentum, which is evident by the growing list of partners joining its design programme."
