London, 4 March 2026: Capita plc (“Capita”) today announces that it has been selected to deliver the Synergy Business Process Services contract.
As part of the new contract, the company will deliver tech-enabled back-office services for public servants across four major UK government departments: the Department for Work and Pensions, Ministry of Justice, Home Office, and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Capita will deliver a suite of services including HR, payroll, recruitment, finance, procurement, and service desk support, underpinned by technologies delivered with hyperscalers and partners.
The contract is expected to commence in phased tranches, beginning March 2026 and will run for seven years, with the option of three one-year extensions. It is worth £370 million over this 10-year period.
