Outstanding Blue Rose Copper Results - Discovery

In brief · summary, not quotable

Cobra Resources PLC has announced significant copper and gold assay results from its Manna Hill Copper Project in South Australia, specifically at the Blue Rose prospect. Key findings include an intersection of 74 meters at 1.02% copper and 0.25g/t gold, with a higher-grade interval of 14 meters at 1.52% copper and 0.42g/t gold. Another notable result is 86 meters at 0.60% copper and 0.14g/t gold. The drilling confirms down-dip continuity of mineralization, with preliminary interpretations suggesting a width of approximately 70 meters. Additionally, molybdenum mineralization was intersected, with grades of up to 0.12% Mo over 10 meters, which could offer significant upside. Further drilling is planned to validate true width estimates and explore the broader mineral system.

Initial assays including 74m at 1.02% Cu and 0.25g/t Au add scale and continuity to shallow high-grade historical intersections

Cobra (LSE: COBR), a South Australian mineral exploration and development company, is pleased to report results from 4 of 18 recently completed Reverse Circulation ("RC") drill holes from Blue Rose, a copper-gold-molybdenum prospect within the Manna Hill Copper Project, located in the Nackara Arc, South Australia.

Highlights:

  • Extensive, high-grade copper-gold and ancillary molybdenum mineralisation, adding scale to historical intersections. Standout results include:

§ MHRC0018: 20m at 0.78% Cu, 0.14 g/t Au from 38m, and

§ 74m at 1.02% Cu, 0.25 g/t Au from 70m, including:

§ 14m at 1.52% Cu, 0.42g/t Au from 88m

§ MHRC0017: 86m at 0.60% Cu, 0.14 g/t Au from 18m, including:

§ 12m at 1.05% Cu, 0.09g/t Au from 32m

§ 12m at 1.10% Cu, 0.53 g/t Au from 58m

o Drilling confirms down-dip continuity to the historical shallow, high-grade intersection within RABR822 of 47m at 2.2% Cu and 0.76 g.t Au from 11m

o Preliminary interpretations infer a width of mineralisation of approximately 70m. Additional diamond drilling is planned to validate true width estimates.

  • Copper and separate outstanding molybdenum intersections include:

MHRC0003: 56m at 0.34% Cu from 34m, including:

§ 18m at 0.52% Cu from 38m, and

§ 14m at 0.21% Cu, 0.01% Mo from 122m, and

§ 10m at 0.12% Mo from 144m, including

§ 2m at 0.38% Mo from 146m

  • Molybdenum grades are high and may add considerable upside. The fact that molybdenum mineralisation is independent of copper-gold sulphides simplifies processing.
  • Molybdenum is a primary pathfinder for porphyry vectoring and identifying the potassic alteration zone, which can host higher-grade copper mineralisation. The intersected molybdenum grades and their direct association to narrow, porphyry type intrusive(s) is evidence of a much larger mineral system.
  • These initial results, and the geological observations from the remaining drillholes, combine to strongly support scale within the Blue Rose skarn and a greater porphyry system.
  • Results are partial for MHRC0003 and MHRC0001 with gold assays outstanding.
  • Results from a further 14 completed RC drillholes are expected throughout March.
  • Requisite approvals have been received in respect of a planned programme comprising 29 RC drillholes and 3 diamond drillholes at Blue Rose.

Rupert Verco, Managing Director, commented:

"Cobra considers that these results validate the potential of the Manna Hill Copper Project. The two intersections in MHRC0018 collectively total 92m at 1.0% Cu and 0.22 g/t Au, representing shallow, thick, high-grade mineralisation with standout economic potential.

Blue Rose is the first of a series of prospects to be addressed by Cobra in the fertile Manna Hill porphyry province. Follow-up work at Blue Rose and initial testing of other prospective Manna Hill prospects is being given high priority.

Cobra is advancing both its 100%-owned Boland In-Situ Recoverable Dysprosium and Terbium Project and the Manna Hill Copper-Gold-Molybdenum Project where the Company holds rights to acquire 100% ownership. Both projects are in South Australia, a secure jurisdiction for resource development and production. It's an exciting time to be invested in Cobra."

Cobra has a 12-month option to acquire the Manna Hill Project ("Manna Hill Option") and is focusing initially on the Blue Rose priority prospect where previous drilling intersected copper-gold mineralisation along 1.6km of strike immediately adjacent to a geophysical anomaly interpretated as a porphyry intrusion1.

Under the Manna Hill Option Agreement, Cobra sought to test several geological observations that have implications for a large-scale mineral system at Blue Rose. This included testing for the continuity of Blue Rose Skarn mineralisation at both depth and with increased strike. Initial results have been received from drill holes within Blue Rose 'Skarn' mineralisation

Results remain pending for:

  • Further drillholes at Blue Rose testing depth and along-strike continuity.
  • Drillholes targeting skarn-style mineralisation at Neptune Rose - a geophysical target aligned north of and parallel to Blue Rose.
  • Drilling targeting the Black Baccara Porphyry target; a large geophysical target north-west of the Blue Rose Skarn.

A total of 18 drillholes (3,200m) were completed in February. Unexpected excess water was encountered in many drillholes and resulted in some holes being terminated before targeted depths. Holes were terminated in a manner that shall enable targeted depths to be achieved with diamond tails should results warrant further drilling.

Initial results have been received from:

MHRC0001: 0 - 156m*

MHRC0003: 0 - 156m*

MHRC0017: 0 - 150m

MHRC0018: 0 - 150m

Based on pXRF and visual observations MHRC0017 and MHRC0018 were prioritised for assay.

Blue Rose High-Grade Zone

MHRC0017 and MHRC0018 were designed to test the continuity of primary mineralisation below high-grade intersected within RABR822 of 47m at 2.2% Cu and 0.76 g.t Au from 11m.

MHRC 0017 demonstrated that mineralisation is continuous through the transition zone from oxidized to primary mineralisation. Most of the mineralisation in the intersection 86m of 0.60% copper and 0.14 g/t gold is considered to occur in the transitional zone.

MHRC0018 intersected two distinct zones:

  • An oxide intersection of 20m at 0.78% Cu, 0.13g/t Au from 38m downhole, and
  • A primary sulphide zone of 74m at 1.02% Cu, 0.25 g/t Au from 70m downhole. This intersection is entirely within primary sulphide mineralisation.

Mineralisation intersected by drillholes MHRC0017 and 0018 has a true width of approximately 70m where downdip continuity appears strong. MHRC0018 is the best primary sulphide result reported from the project.

Figure 2: Cross Section A: Highlighting intersections of drillholes MHRC0017 and MHRC0018.

Porphyry intrusion related mineralisation

MHRC0003 has established continuity of mineralisation associated with two dykes and mineralisation intersected in the following holes:

Mineralisation within MHRC0003 shows connectivity between shallow oxide mineralisation within RABR205 that intersected 43m at 0.6% Cu from 12m and diamond drillhole BRDD003 that contains multiple low-grade zones and included: 16.15m at 0.51% Cu, 17.8m at 0.08% Mo from 144.2m, 5.8m at 0.13% Mo from 156.2m and 26.7m at 0.43% Cu from 195m.

Molybdenum mineralisation occurs in association with bedding-concordant dioritic intrusive rocks in each of these three drillholes. Recognition of this rock type/mineralisation relationship is expected to materially assist exploration for the porphyry-style mineralisation which is thought likely to exist nearby.

Figure 3: Cross section 429,000mE depicting mineralisation continuity defined by MHRC0003 and the porphyry related intrusions that host high-grade molybdenum mineralisation.

Figure 4: Long section 6,388,350mN, highlighting the depth, continuity and distribution of intersections.

Significance of results

High-grade (in excess of 1% copper) primary mineralisation lies open beneath the 130 metre vertical depth reached by drillhole MHRC0018. Down-dip extensions of this mineralisation present an attractive target for planned diamond drilling.

As the remaining drill-return assays are received over the coming fortnight, mineralisation geometry will be modelled, geochemical trends will be identified, and next steps will be determined.

Appendix 3: JORC Code, 2012 Edition - Table 3
CriteriaJORC Code explanationCommentary
Logging· Whether core and chip samples have been geologically and geotechnically logged to a level of detail to support appropriate Mineral Resource estimation, mining studies and metallurgical studies. · Whether logging is qualitative or quantitative in nature. Core (or costean, channel, etc) photography. · The total length and percentage of the relevant intersections logged.· Historic logging has been completed with a number of different geological logging codes. These are being translated into a standardized logging format prior to entry into the Cobra Drillhole Database · All holes were qualitatively geologically logged for their entire length by suitably qualified Cobra geologists and recorded onsite into Cobra's MX Deposit database. · Mineral Resources have not been estimated; however, the quality of the logging is expected to be suitable for low-confidence resource estimation purposes. · The detail of geological logging is considered sufficient for exploration and resource definition drilling. · Logging included visual estimates for copper oxides and sulphides aswell as pyrite content · All intersections were logged.
Sub-sampling techniques and sample preparation· If core, whether cut or sawn and whether quarter, half or all core taken. · If non-core, whether riffled, tube sampled, rotary split, etc and whether sampled wet or dry. · For all sample types, the nature, quality and appropriateness of the sample preparation technique. · Quality control procedures adopted for all sub-sampling stages to maximise representivity of samples. · Measures taken to ensure that the sampling is representative of the in situ material collected, including for instance results for field duplicate/second-half sampling. · Whether sample sizes are appropriate to the grain size of the material being sampled.Historic · Historic sampling has not been assessed. Current · For each metre a Metzke cone split sample was collected in a calico bag. A portable XRF unit was used to screen a selected interval of 1m RC bulk samples for anomalous copper values. Where copper value readings exceeded ~200 ppm Cu, sampling was conducted at 1m intervals using the Metzke cone split samples. · Weights of samples submitted for assay averaged 2.5 kg and ranged between 1.8 to 4.1 kg. Sample size is considered appropriate for the material sampled. · Commercially certified reference material of known copper grades and of suitable matrix were included in the laboratory assay sequence at a rate of 1 per 50 samples. · First-split duplicate samples were collected at a rate of 1 per 50 samples. · A coarse blank sample was inserted 1 in every 50 samples. · The Competent Person considers that the sample size is appropriate to the grain size of the material being sampled.
Location of data points· Accuracy and quality of surveys used to locate drill holes (collar and down-hole surveys), trenches, mine workings and other locations used in Mineral Resource estimation. · Specification of the grid system used. · Quality and adequacy of topographic control.Historic · Historic Drillholes were recorded with a number of different datums. · Validation of the datums used for each program have been conducted and are continuing. · The key historic drilling used for planning of the January 2026 drill program have high confidence in the datum used and have been assessed in the field Current · Drill hole locations were determined by handheld GPS with a nominal accuracy of +/- 5 metres. · All coordinates and maps presented here are in the MGA Zone 53 GDA94 coordinate system. · Topographic control is provided by Aerometrex Reigel VQ-780ii Airborne Laser Scanner producing LiDAR digital elevation data at 0.1m accuracy with collar heights extracted from a DTM produced from the LiDAR data.
Audits or reviews· The results of any audits or reviews of sampling techniques and data.·

Mineral tenement and land tenure status· Type, reference name/number, location and ownership including agreements or material issues with third parties such as joint ventures, partnerships, overriding royalties, native title interests, historical sites, wilderness or national park and environmental settings. · The security of the tenure held at the time of reporting along with any known impediments to obtaining a licence to operate in the area.· Blue Rose is located on EL6009 that is held by Hamelin Gully Pty Ltd. Manna Hill Mining Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Cobra Resources Plc has a 12-month option to acquire Hamelin Gully. · This drilling forms part of the company's strategy to seek shareholder approval to exercise the option. · A 1% Over Riding Royalty Agreement is registered between Hamelin Gully and Springton Trust A Native Title Agreement is in place between the Wilyakali People and Hamelin Gully Pty Ltd Cultural heritage surveys have been completed over EL6009, clearing proposed drill sites
Further work· The nature and scale of planned further work (eg tests for lateral extensions or depth extensions or large-scale step-out drilling). · Diagrams clearly highlighting the areas of possible extensions, including the main geological interpretations and future drilling areas, provided this information is not commercially sensitive.· RC drill program at Blue Rose, Desert Rose and Double Delight in early January 2026 · Follow up diamond drilling at Desert Rose · Greenfields soil sampling program
