Cindrigo Holdings Limited (LSE:CINH), a clean baseload energy developer and producer is pleased to announce that it has been provided with the London Stock Exchange's Green Economy Mark. The Green Economy Mark, first introduced in 2019, was created to assist investors in identifying an investible universe of green equities.

The Green Economy Mark identifies companies and funds, admitted to London Stock Exchange's markets, which generate 50% or more of total annual revenues from products and services that contribute to the global green economy (according to FTSE Russell's Green Revenue Classification System (GRCS)).

To assess an issuer's contribution to the green economy, the London Stock Exchange utilises the FTSE Russell's GRCS. The GRCS is a data classification system developed by FTSE Russell, as a comprehensive taxonomy for green products and services to help investors identify a company's green revenue activities. It takes a broad, bottom-up view of the green economy, capturing products and services across the whole value chain.

Lars Guldstrand, CEO of Cindrigo Holdings Limited, said: "We are extremely pleased to have been provided with the Green Economy Mark, demonstrating Cindrigo's development being based on green activities. The Green Economy Mark supports Cindrigo in communicating its green credentials to investors and other stakeholders, highlighting our efforts to support the transition to a low carbon economy."

Julia Hoggett, CEO of the London Stock Exchange, added: "Congratulations to Cindrigo on obtaining the Green Economy Mark, which highlights companies or funds that derive 50% or more of total annual revenues from products and services that contribute to the global green economy. Companies within the Green Economy Mark cohort play an important role in accelerating the transition to a more sustainable economy."

Cindrigo is a renewable energy developer and producer that is building a high capacity, clean baseload power generation portfolio across Europe. This includes a 110 MW biomass combined heat and power plant in Finland and three geothermal energy projects in Germany. Alongside this, the Company maintains an active development strategy with several additional renewable energy projects and licenses under evaluation.
