Hope and Gorob Project commencement of blasting

In brief · summary, not quotable

Bezant Resources PLC has successfully completed its first blast at the Hope open pit site within its 90% owned Hope & Gorob copper gold project in Namibia, liberating approximately 2,000 tonnes of commercially viable mineralisation from a 20,000 tonne blast. Preliminary evaluations indicate the surface mineralisation is consistent with the geological block model, and the company's grade control team will now compare assays from blasthole sampling with the current surface expression. Mining and transport of run of mine ore to the Tsaoxaub Metals flotation plant will commence shortly to generate a stockpile for future plant commissioning, with the plant site manager onboarded and operator recruitment ongoing.

Colin Bird Executive Chairman of Bezant commented:

'We are pleased to announce this important mile stone in the development of the Hope and Gorob Copper and Gold mine development. The blast was successful with excellent fragmentation and extremely well positioned relative to ore. The result is testament to our external geological advisor Sound Engineering and also our newly recruited geological staff. The project continues to move forward in all aspects and we are particularly pleased with progress at the NLZM plant where current activity is intense. We will keep the market updated as we proceed towards the key mile stones of ore input and saleable concentrate."
