Braemar Plc (LSE: BMS), announces that, following the conclusion of a formal tender process led by the Company's Audit Committee, the Audit Committee recommended, and the Board approved, the selection of MHA Audit Services LLP ("MHA") as auditor to the Company.

Following completion of the tender process, BDO LLP ("BDO") has resigned as auditor of the Company and provided the Company with its statement of circumstances in accordance with section 519 of the Companies Act 2006 (the "Act").

Following BDO's resignation and the resulting casual vacancy, the Board has appointed MHA as auditor of the Company pursuant to section 489(3)(c) of the Act. MHA will hold office until the conclusion of the 2027 Annual General Meeting and will conduct the audit of the Company's financial statements for the financial year ending 28 February 2027. A resolution for the reappointment of MHA as auditor will be proposed to shareholders at the 2027 Annual General Meeting.

In accordance with section 520(2) of the Act, a copy of BDO's statement of circumstances is being sent to shareholders for information and will be submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority's National Storage Mechanism at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism.

The Board would like to thank BDO for its services to the Company throughout its tenure as auditor.
