Completion of Preliminary Geospatial Exploration

In brief · summary, not quotable

Anglesey Mining plc has announced the completion of a preliminary geospatial exploration project conducted by Satellite Applications Catapult and the British Geological Survey, which identified four areas of interest around the Parys Mountain deposit. This analysis integrated satellite-based technology, LiDAR, spectral, and geophysical datasets to provide rapid and cost-effective indications of subsurface geology, supporting the company's ongoing exploration efforts and further de-risking potential exploration at the polymetallic VMS project.

Anglesey Mining plc (AIM: AYM), the UK-based mineral exploration and development company advancing the UK's largest polymetallic Volcanic Massive Sulphide ("VMS") project at the 100% owned Parys Mountain Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag-Au VMS deposit in North Wales, announces the receipt of results for the exploratory geospatial analysis project from Satellite Applications Catapult ("Catapult") and the British Geological Survey ("BGS").

Highlights:

Application of satellite-based technology and other modern datasets to prospective areas in and around the environment of Parys Mountain.

Four target areas, in conjunction with our aero-geophysical programme, were identified for follow-up exploration.

Earth observation work integrated with geological interpretations and modern geophysical datasets by the BGS, specifically in relation to VMS mineral systems.

As announced on 26 May 2026, the Company engaged Catapult to provide a preliminary geospatial analysis study as an exploration method for identifying potential VMS extensions in and around the Parys Mountain region.

Catapult, a UK Research & Innovation provider of remote sensing and geospatial services, worked with the BGS, drawing on its extensive deposit-type and earth observation expertise, to produce an integrated analysis of Light Detection and Ranging ("LiDAR"), spectral and geophysical datasets. These non-intrusive methods were used to provide more rapid and less costly indications of subsurface geology and assess the potential for additional exploration targets.

The BGS identified four areas of interest where combinations of geological, geophysical and Earth observation datasets further justify additional exploration. The highlighted areas broadly align, as expected, with those already identified in the Company's ongoing technical reviews, providing additional data to support the analysis and further de-risk costly exploration at Parys Mountain.
