Villeta Project Update
ATOME PLC has provided an update on its US$630 million, 260,000 tonne-per-year low-carbon fertiliser plant at Villeta, Paraguay, targeting a Final Investment Decision around the end of February 2026. The company is progressing with definitive project financing documentation, with lender negotiations at a mature stage and focus now on equity consortium documentation and logistics to move towards execution of this complex US$650 million project.

ATOME (AIM: ATOM), the world-leading low-carbon fertiliser developer and the UK's only dedicated international industrial scale low-carbon fertiliser company, provides an update on its landmark US$630 million, 260,000 tonne-per-year low-carbon fertiliser plant at Villeta, Paraguay ("Villeta" or "the Project").
Targeting Final Investment Decision ("FID")
Further to the Company's announcement of 18 December 2025, ATOME confirms that finalisation of the definitive project financing documentation for the Villeta Project is continuing with key stakeholders. Negotiations on lender documentation are at a mature stage and ATOME is now focused on addressing the outstanding points relating to the equity consortium documentation and relevant logistics in order to move to execution.
Progress continues to be made and the Company is now targeting FID to be achieved around the end of February 2026. This reflects the ongoing substantial workstreams associated with the completion of such a complex US$650 million, first-of-a-kind project finance.
ATOME and its project partners remain fully aligned on achieving FID at the Villeta Project as soon as possible and a further update will be provided as appropriate.
