Fynapse Partnership with Big Four Firm
Aptitude Software Group plc has announced a significant two-year strategic partnership agreement for its Fynapse platform with a leading Big Four professional services firm. This agreement includes a $150,000 annual license fee and positions Fynapse to power the Big Four firm's new Digital Finance managed service for mid-market organizations, enabling them to outsource finance and accounting operations. The selection of Fynapse was driven by its ease of configuration, rapid onboarding capabilities, and AI-native architecture, which allows for layered AI development on a governed, real-time data foundation, supporting scalable service margins and efficient deployment.

Aptitude (LSE: APTD), a market-leading provider of AI-native Finance ERP software, is pleased to announce a new strategic contract win for its Fynapse platform with a leading “Big Four” professional services firm (the “Big Four Firm”).
Under the two-year agreement, the Big Four Firm has signed a license for Fynapse and agreed to act as a re-seller of the platform. Fynapse will underpin the Big Four Firm's Digital Finance managed service, which enables organisations to outsource their back-office finance and accounting operations. The initial contract value is $150,000 per annum, with additional revenue as the Big Four Firm sells Fynapse to its underlying client base.
There is a growing shift towards managed service models for finance, as organisations look to modernise without taking on the cost and complexity of running finance operations themselves. Fynapse was selected by the Big Four Firm for its ease of configuration and speed of onboarding, which will allow the Big Four Firm to bring new end-clients onto the managed service offering quickly and cost-effectively, while supporting service margins as the offering scales.
Fynapse's AI-native architecture will allow the Big Four Firm to layer its own AI capability on top of a governed, real-time, transaction-level data foundation. Aptitude believes this is not achievable on traditional ERP architecture, which remains designed for batch processing and periodic reporting rather than the granular, traceable data that AI requires.
Alex Curran, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
“We are delighted to be working with one of the world's leading professional services firms to underpin its managed service offering. This agreement is further evidence of our strategic transition to a partner-led model, extending Fynapse’s reach through partners that can take Fynapse to a broader range of organisations at scale.
“The Big Four Firm selected Fynapse as a next-generation Finance ERP platform on which it can build its own AI capability. Together with the speed at which Fynapse can be configured and deployed, this provides a strong foundation for an efficient and scalable managed service.”
