CCR funding completed
Ampeak Energy Limited has successfully completed its loan agreement with Cardiff Capital Region, receiving the final tranche of £3.5 million, bringing the total loan amount to £8.5 million. This funding, which was contingent on planning permission for the AW2 battery storage project and the expiry of its judicial review period, will be used to accelerate the development of the company's battery storage projects.

Ampeak Energy is pleased to advise that it has received the final tranche of £3.5m of the £8.5m loan from Cardiff Capital Region ("CCR"), first announced on 16th April 2025.
The final payment was made following the receipt of planning permission, as announced on 1 October 2025, and the expiry of the Judicial Review period for the AW2 battery storage project.
Ampeak Energy will utilise these funds to further accelerate the delivery of its exciting pipeline of battery storage projects.
