London, 10 August 2026 - AltynGold (LSE:ALTN), a leading exploration and development gold miner operating in Kazakhstan, announces its unaudited production and operational update for the three months to 30 June 2026 ("Q2 2026" or the "Period").
The Company delivered a progressive quarter of operations, producing 15.6Koz of gold, up 23.3% from Q1 and remains on track to meet market guidance of 52-55Koz for the full year.
Operational highlights
In Q2 2026 the Company operated the Sekisovskoye processing plant at its 1 Mtpa nameplate capacity (full load capacity), following the upgrade completed in December 2024. Ore mined and ore processed rose 15.5% and 12.4% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to 246 kt and 264 kt respectively. The QoQ increase reflects the return to normal mining conditions following the planned lower-grade mining of transitional zones in Q1 2026; on a year-on-year (YoY) basis ore mined and ore processed were 1.3% and 6.4% higher.
Ore processed was 12.4% higher at 264 kt, at a grade of 1.83 g/t producing 15,610 oz of gold (Q1 2026 12,664 oz). With gold recovery slightly higher at 85.01% the Company increased the gold poured to 13,242 oz (Q1 2026 10,664 oz), a significant increase of 24%.
During Q1 2026 the Company carried out planned mining of the upper horizons of ore bodies 5.5 and 6 to 8 to bridge a temporary vertical gap between the main ore bodies. With that work completed, the average mined improved to 1.88 g/t in Q2 2026, up from 1.73 g/t in Q1 2026. Gold poured increased 24.2% QoQ to 13,242 ounces, while on a year-on-year basis gold poured was 4.8% lower, reflecting the lower grade profile.
Financial highlights
Total revenue increased 4.6% QoQ to US$58.9 million (Q1 2026: US$56.3 million). Gold sold rose 13.6% QoQ to 13,096 oz, more than offsetting a 7.3% QoQ decline in the average realised gold price to US$4,459 oz (Q1 2026: US$4,809). On a year-on-year basis, total revenue was 31.8% higher, driven by the higher realised gold price (Q2 2025: US$3,222 per ounce), while gold sold was 4.1% lower.
